Dead Wagner boss ‘seen in new video’ saying ‘all is fine’ as conspiracy theories grow

Wagner Boss Prigozhin

Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin feared killed in a plane crash last week, two months after he tried to plot a coup in Moscow – but now a new video appearing to show the military man alive has fuelled conspiracy theories

The Russian warlord, 62, was reportedly killed alongside nine others after his private jet caught fire and fell 28,000 feet to the ground last week (August 23).

Since then wild rumours have swirled that the military man may have cheated death by placing a body double on the ill-fated plane – and now a new video has surfaced, seemingly showing Prigozhin alive.

Dressed in army get-up, the man in the video can be heard saying: “How am I doing?

“It’s the weekend, the second half of August [20]23.‌

“I am in Africa.

“So fans of discussing my elimination, intimate life, earnings or whatever, as a matter of fact, everything is fine.”

The video was posted to the Grey Zone Telegram channel which is linked to Wagner, the mercenary group Prigozhin led prior to his death.

The channel didn’t caption the video or specify when it was filmed.

Even if the footage is real, however, it doesn’t necessarily prove Prigozhin is alive.

The military boss had been in Africa – where Wagner has military operations – prior to returning to Moscow in time for the fatal plane crash.

Some now believe the video was recorded on August 19 or 20, the weekend before his death.
