COVID-19: Nigeria tests over 35,000 samples as infections surpass 6,000
Nigeria has so far tested 35,345 COVID-19 samples as 216 new infections have been confirmed.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced this in a series of tweets on Monday night.
According to the Centre, on the 18th of May 2020, 216 new cases were confirmed, bringing total number of cases to 6,175 while 1,644 cases have been discharged and 191 deaths have been recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
