Barely 24 hours after Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetoku, demanded the list of sponsors of August 1, 2024 hardship protest from prospective protesters, Mr Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, has responded.

In his verified X handle, Charly Boy, also known as Area Fada, listed 40 triggers for the protest whom he called sponsors.

Part of the sponsors identified by Charly Boy include: Hunger, Inflation, Fuel pump price, Minimum wage, Power or no light,  Bad roads, Budget padding, INEC rigging of election with impunity. He urged the government to tackle these challenges and there will be no protest. Below is his tweet:
