Catholic priest burnt to death at his residence by terrorists in Niger state
The church has suffered another calamity as terrorists invaded Kafin-Koro community in Niger state in the early hours of Sunday and burnt a Catholic priest, Rev Isaac Achi, to death in his residence.
The terrorists who arrived in their numbers were said to have attacked the community forcing residents to scamper for safety.
Rev Achi was of the Catholic diocese of Minna and Kafin-Koro Deanery.
His assistant who sustained gunshot has been rushed to the hospital.
Niger state like other states across the country have come under intense attacks by terrorist, targeting churches and Christians.
