Bloody Wednesday as five die in Osun Yoruba-Hausa community fight
A bloody fight between two ethnically opposing communities in Sabo Are of Ile- Ife in Osun state has claimed five people. Trouble reportedly started Tuesday night when a Yoruba trader had a clas with an Hausa trader in the community. The problem escalated and by Wednesday morning, it has turned to a free for all fight.
An eye witness confirmed the deaths in the raging fight on Wednesday.
Soldiers and police men have been drafted to the area at the moment trying to manage the situation. The situation has been brought under control by policemen drafted to the scene.
Some shops and properties have been destroyed.
