Please note that we have not entered into any kind of collaboration nor partnered with any agency nor allowed anyone to represent us to offer money for donations, grants, scholarships and/or partnerships and/or organize workshops and conferences and/or travel”.
“These fake offers are phishing scams executed by unknown individuals and agencies around the world in order to steal money and/or sensitive information from you. They can also contact you using our email domain (@fundsforngos.org) which can easily be faked but the reply-to email address will be different. We request you to avoid responding to any such messages and stop all communication with them if you have any time responded to them”.
The organisation further advises that, “If you come across any such individual or agency claiming to give fake offers representing, or in partnership with, fundsforNGOs please inform us at anti-fraud@fundsforngos.org.
