A woman entrepreneur, Mrs Mojoyin Oyadiran, has advised women not to sacrifice their home-front for their carriers to avoid breaking of their homes.
Oyadiran, also a Strategic Partnership Lead for Suregifts, a financial technology company in Nigeria, gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos.
She spoke about her book launch entitled: “She Evolves”, aims at bringing a fresh perspective to women issues with the mind of yielding positive impact on its audiences.
Oyadiran said that if a woman could sacrifice her home-front for carrier, she might likely lose that home.
“There must be a balance between the career and family life, because the home you are trying to build may crash at your face, if you place carrier above your home.
“If a woman did not attend to her home-front and prefer to satisfy her career at the expense of her home, she may likely lose that home,” she said.
Oyadiran, however, expressed her displeasure at some women who left their home-front management in the hands of house helps.
On the book, she said: “The book is about women and also for men and adolescent- male and female- who understand the different decades of women in their lives.
“What inspires me to write the book was my struggles in life to find direction when I struggled as a mother at 20 and I wanted to have much insight.
“I searched online, and didn’t see answers, I realised that there was a gap, for other women, if I am facing it, so are other women”.“Women should be emotional about how they live every decade of their lives, and they need to take smart moves to get them ahead, rather than saying am in my 20s, I don’t know what to do.” (NAN)
