In line with his campaign promise to continue from where infrastructural development actions stopped in his first term in office, the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Engr., Dr. Valentine Buraimoh immediately swung into action taking a tour of inspection of roads across the local government.

The team which had the newly elected vice chairman, Hon Maureen Ashara, the immediate past vice chairman, Hon. Idris Olusegun and the works department, commenced the inspection from Shalom road, along Ago palace link road, through, 21 road, 2nd Avenue, 7th avenue, and Abule-Ado community.

Speaking during the inspection tour hours after receiving the mandate of office for the second term, Valentine said, “I made a promise to the people of Amuwo-Odofin that we will continue the work we started, this is my way of taking a pragmatic step to keeping the promise.”

Residents across the communities where the inspection took place, lauded the Council chair for his proactive action.
