How I was abused several times as a child – Ifu Enada, BBNaija ex-housemate

Ex- house mate of BigBrotherNaija Double Wahala, Ifu Ennada, has told a pathetic and moving story of her family background, revealing that her family had to relocate to the village when she was 9 years old just because they couldn’t afford to pay rent. She disclosed this on her Instagram page, stressing that she has been abused in a number of ways.

Her story:

My name is Iheme Faith Uloma Adanne, popularly known as Ifu Ennada – The Ifu Ennada.

As a child I always had massive dreams, but the challenges I experienced “so many times” were overwhelming that I contemplated suicide several times and lost myself along the way… I remember when I was 9yrs old, my whole family moved to the village, while my dad stayed back in Lagos to hustle… Our rent had been long overdue and the landlord could only but kick us out. It was a terrible time for me, but what was more terrible was helplessly watching my 4yrs old younger brother die in front of me – in my mother’s arms, my mother who would have given her life in exchange for his.

We were so poor, that even there in the village we couldn’t afford average healthcare… Instagram would be unable to take record of the number of times I was abused in a number of ways… My life’s journey has been one tough but inspiring one. For each time I was down, God always came through, in form of His Word, but most importantly in the shape of people – good people who remind me that humanity is BeautIFU! and that the world isn’t evil.

These good people include all of you reading this, all of you who would never give up on me. All you wonderful people who care about me in ways I can’t imagine.

Coming out of the Big Brother House, I didn’t know such massive love was awaiting me and now as I am set for what’s coming, I want you all to know that I am who I am because of God and you.

I don’t take you for granted and my love for you will always be never ending.

Thank you!

XO,

Ifu Ennada

Meanwhile, Big Brother aka ‘Biggie, owner of the Big Brother Naija house on Sunday, dissolved all the strikes assigned to housemates in a bid to reset the game. This means that CeeC, Lolu and Tobi who had two strikes each for flouting the house rules, now have clean slates to continue in the game. Biggie introduced the twist during his `historic’ meeting with the housemates before Sunday’s live show.

With dramatic lighting and ninjas flanking the ‘throne’, housemates were asked to line up and queried on their experiences in the house thus far.

After announcing that evictions would not take place as planned, ‘Biggie’ gave the housemates a choice to exit the game.

They were asked to pick an envelope containing an undisclosed sum of money if they wanted to leave the game at that moment.

Although Rico Swavey and Alex looked like they were going to pick the offer, all the housemates declined.

‘Biggie’ generously announced that all strikes were forgiven and housemates can restart the game on a clean account causing CeeC, Tobi and Lolu to leap for joy.

According to information on the show’s official website, the twists were introduced to create a level playing ground as two evicted housemates were brought back to the house on Sunday.

It read: “All of this was a symbolic moment in order for Biggie to reset the game in order for things to move forward in a new light.

“It is going to be a whole new game with Anto and Khloe coming back. This is going to shift the vibe in the House and definitely spice things up.”
