Osinbajo names Pitan as new MD Bank of Industry, Doherty is new DG PENCOM
Acting President Professor Yemi Osinbajo has made 9 appointments into Federal parastatals, agencies and commissions.
He named Funso Doherty as new Director-General for the National Pension Commission, PENCOM and Mr. Olukayode Pitan​ as Managing Director, Bank of Industry.
Doherty replaces Dikko Aliyu AbdulRahman who has now been appointed as Chairman, Governing Board of the Bank of Industry (BoI).

- Mr. Manase Benga​—Executive Commissioner, National Pension ​​​​Commission (subject to confirmation by the Senate).
- Zaki Magawata​—Executive Commissioner, National Pension ​​​​Commission (subject to confirmation by the Senate).
- Ben Oviosun​​—Executive Commissioner, National Pension ​​​​Commission (subject to confirmation by the Senate).
- Nyerere Ayim​​—Executive Commissioner, National Pension ​​​​Commission (subject to confirmation by the Senate).
- Dikko Aliyu AbdulRahman—Chairman, Governing Board of the Bank of Industry
- Mr. Olukayode Pitan​—Managing Director, Bank of Industry
- Mr. Emeka Nwakpa​—Chairman, Governing Board of the Consumer Protection Council.
While some of the appointments approve by the Acting President are subject to confirmation by the Senate, others take immediate effect.
