Buhari absent at FEC meeting for the third time
President Muhammadu Buhari has again for the third time failed to attend the Federal Executive Council Meeting on Wednesday. Buhari who reportedly resumed at his desk Tuesday and was briefed by Minister of Justice and the Group Managing Director of NNPC was conspicuously absent on Wednesday.
This marks the third time the President will miss the weekly meeting since his return from a medical vacation in the United Kingdom in March. Following his absence from the meeting last week, speculations over his health had shot up, especially after the Information Minister, Mr. Lai Mohammed, said he would work from home that day.
As at press time no official reason was given for the President’s absence.
