The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed has awarded an operative for demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and civility in the face of hostility.

In a statement on Friday by a spokesperson of the FRSC, Olusegun Ogungbemide, the recognition highlights the importance of upholding the highest standards of behaviour and treating members of the public with respect and dignity, even in challenging situations as displayed by Road Marshal Assistant Habeeb Sayidi.

The award of excellence was issued at the end of the year dinner/social night organized at the instance of the Corps Marshal at the National Headquarters, Abuja on Thursday 12 December, 2024.

Recall that the operative, Habeeb manifested an unusual degree of comportment, resilience, civility and patience amidst untold provocation when a passenger repeatedly assaulted him while discharging his duty.

He was given the award among other dedicated staff who distinguished themselves in service, including a rescue team that returned over 8.7 million naira recovered during rescue operations to the crash victim.

By acknowledging and rewarding exemplary behaviour, the Corps Marshal encourages other operatives to emulate these standards, promoting a culture of excellence and respect within the FRSC.
