Kidnapped ex-SSS Director, Mike Ejiofor, regains freedom, says I’m back reinvigorated
After four days in captivity in the dark kingdom of armed Fulani herdsmen, the former Director of SSS, Mr Mike Ejiofor, has regained his freedom. In a post in his alma mater Whatsapp portal, St. Anthony’s College Old Boys Association (SACOBA) he wrote on Monday night: “To the glory of God I’m back reinvigorated for a fight for the Nigerian soul after four days in captivity by Fulani gunmen. Nigeria is doomed”.
Mr. Ejiofor was State Director of SSS in Kogi, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom before his retirement. A lawyer and consummate public affairs analyst and security consultant, he is a regular commentator on security issues on television and radio. He has made countless appearance on Channels television, AIT and Al-jazeera discussing matters bordering on insecurity in Nigeria, proffering solution on how the Federal Government can tame the Boko Haram insurgents and sundry security challenges.
He was reportedly kidnapped in Kogi State at the weekend.
