Eagles still owed winning bonuses by NFF
Players of the Super Eagles, are claiming that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), did not give them complete payments as winning bonus for their 3-1 win over Algeria in a 2018 World Cup qualifier in Uyo.
The Federal Government had released funds to settle outstanding allowances of the Eagles and the Super Falcons, after the NFF was unable to pay them off.
Each Eagles player is entitled to $5,000, at the rate of N305 per dollar, which totals N1,525,000 but some of the players are still complaining that all the money had not been paid to them despite entreaties from the Senate and directive from the Presidency.
